Technical Security Specialist

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Technical Security Specialist to join our security team. As a Technical Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting our customers' physical assets, personnel, and operations from threats and risks.

About the Role

As a Technical Security Specialist, you will work to prevent and protect our customers' operations against various types of threats and mitigate risks. The role includes being both a requirement setter and a quality assurer, as well as continuously following up on security work. As a Technical Security Specialist, you will also, together with other team members, assist and provide advice on security-related issues that may arise within the organization.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Advisor in the field of security, internally and externally
• Continuity planning of operational technical systems
• Conduct ongoing risk and vulnerability analyses
• Projects within physical security
• Development and ongoing updates of governing documents such as policies, guidelines, and manuals, as well as security standards based on insurance requirements, etc.
• Internally train employees in the field of security

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with an academic background in security and risk management or equivalent experience and qualifications. Furthermore, you have several years of experience in strategic and operational security work, with broad knowledge and experience in the field of security. It is also crucial that you have a good understanding of the requirements and challenges that each sub-area places on the organization. You thrive in fast-paced organizations, and we prefer that you have experience from the private sector. It is in your nature to build long-term relationships, and you understand the value of how close collaboration contributes to business.

As a person, you are secure and stable and have a good ability to work both strategically and operationally. You have good collaboration skills and can communicate pedagogically with others both verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English.

About the Position

• Probation period: 6 months
